Someone sent me this text this morning and I wanted to share it with you and also for my future self, as I will come back to read posts in the future.
" So, January 1 I started a Read through the Bible in a year plan. Today some of my reading was in Genesis about Noah. God asked Noah to build an ark, but he didn't just ask him to build an ark, he gave him every detail on how to build the ark, exactly where the window should be, who/what would go in the ark and so on. Noah's faith was amazing, to think it'd never rained before and yet this is what he was asked to do so he did it. Made me think of you and your experience! God hasn't forgotten you and he's still writing your story so it's just perfect! "
It helps to know others are interested in our story and are waiting right alongside me. Weeping with those who weep and rejoicing with those who rejoice is SO important. There are those in our church congregation with health struggles and diagnoses right now. When I say that I will pray for them, I really want to follow through. So many people have expressed their prayers for us and it is so humbling. When I have the responsibility to lift my brethren to the throne of God, it is just that. The ability to and the response.
The individual who sent this text to me has been wonderful at checking in and letting us know we are prayed for and loved. She inspires me to pass the encouragement on to others that I know are going through rough patches. Keep the encouragement spark going!
