Wow! Has time sped on since my last post! When I left off last, we were headed to Sarasota to spend time with both sets of family for about 9-10 days.

As always, time didn't slow down there either. However, it was relaxing and wonderful to see some family members! We rented an AirBnB with my parents and Elise and then met Mom and Dad Ott whenever they could. It was amazing to see Andy's Dad doing so well 2 months post-transplant. Mom Ott has a full time job keeping track of all the medicine he is on and doctors appointments scheduling. Praise God for the gift of the lung! #donateorgans

We were able to visit Lido Key Beach and Siesta Key Beach while we were there. Lido Key was PACKED and was a little nervewracking keeping track of the kids. Especially Aria, whose favorite thing to do is make new friends. She even found a sweet little Spanish talking girl to play with. And growled at the seagulls...

Our older kids were excited to spend some cousin time with China and Ayana! They are both so tall and grown up!

This is someone truly living the "Salt Life"! Elise had to snap a picture to send to our brothers.

This was a delightful supper of Chinese Food! I think we almost ordered about 1 of everything!

This is Siesta Key, where Adam lives. His rental comes with a little stretch of beach that is just perfect for families. Much easier to keep track of the kids on this beach! I forget if we went here 2 or 3 days, but we saw dolphins each day we were there!

I didn't get many pictures of the AirBnB, but it was a winner in our book! I think it slept up to 14 and was very clean. The backyard had a nice yard, patio, grill, garage with ping pong and a variety of beach toys and equipment. If anyone needs a recommendation on where to stay, I will post the link here:

Another day, we visited Mote Marine Aquarium. I've been there several times before but the kids wanted to go and Mom, Dad and Elise hadn't been there.

We were able to attend church on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday and it had been about 2 years since we had been there last. It was exciting to see all the new faces of people who have moved in in 2 years.

Overall, it was a wonderful trip to experience! We are thankful for this needed time away, our first time we had left for an extended time period, since we moved down in July of last summer.
