I'll let this be a picture heavy post since I was so wordy last time...
Our trip back had two parts. Florida. Then Illinois. We were gone for a total of about 3.5 weeks. Our first part included Clayton's 10th birthday, bringing Dad Ott home from the hospital, Christmas Caroling with Sarasota Church, Christmas's, Malaya's 12th birthday, meeting up with friends at a park, going out to eat with McClure gang and spending some time at their pool.
We flew to Illinois, on a super nice SRQ-PIA direct flight, and were picked up by Dad and Mom Z. The weather was nice to us and spared us of any frostbite. Got to go to church 3x, see lots and lots of friends, few sleepovers, Zim Christmas, visit Grandma Betty and Great Aunt Mary Lou, and experienced only 2 vomits! Was also privileged to touch base with my cousin Julie before they left for Haiti again.
Had a wonderful time overall and so thankful for the ability to fly to see loved ones, especially at Christmas.
We are now back in the swing of things with school, work and commitments. Looking forward to a work team coming in February along with Mom and Dad Z, Lord Willing.
